Scholarship Contest for Web Development 100 at Liberty Science Center

Written by Mike Miller on August 23, 2017 in scholarship, liberty, science, center, web, development, 100

In celebration of our first class kicking off at Liberty Science Center, we're giving away a scholarship for Web Development 100!

The course starts September 6th, and runs Mondays and Wednesdays for 16 weeks. You'll build real-world projects while learning the foundational languages of the web: HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

After 8 weeks of solidifying your skills with those languages, you'll take them to the next level with advanced concepts in front-end web development. For the final 8 weeks, you'll work with technologies like Bootstrap, Sass, APIs, AJAX/JSON, and Parallax.

At the end of the 16 week course, you'll have a portfolio full of projects and fully-functioning websites ready to deploy to the web!

To apply for the scholarship, all you have to do is fill out the scholarship entry form. We'll choose a winner on August 28th, 2017*. The full details of the scholarship are on the form.

If you want to learn more about the upcoming program at Liberty Science Center, follow the link: Web Development 100 @ LSC

*UPDATE: We'll be selecting a winner on August 30th, 2017.
