NYCDA Announces Partnership With Liberty Science Center

Written by Cory Healy on July 07, 2017

We’re excited to announce a partnership with Liberty Science Center in Jersey City, New Jersey!

Starting August 2017, our signature Web Development 100 evening program will be offered at the science center. This is anyone’s chance to develop their coding skills while immersed in one of the top science centers in the country over the course of 16-weeks.

This Web Development 100 evening program will teach HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals. Participants will walk away with dynamic websites built from scratch for their portfolio, and knowledge imparted from developers-turned-instructors who work at various startups and Fortune 500 companies. Additionally, students will benefit greatly from hands-on workshops for project building and conceptualization.

“We’re honored to partner with the LIberty Science Center to expand their program offerings. This partnership furthers our mission to improve the connection between community, technology, and continuing education,” said Jeremy Snepar, CEO and Co-founder of NYCDA.

Liberty Science Center in Jersey City, NJ has 300,000 square feet devoted to exciting science and technology experiences; it is the largest interactive science theater in the NYC-NJ area. With more than 110 live animal species, 3D films, laser shows, and the western hemisphere’s biggest and best planetarium opening later this year, LSC is bringing the power, promise, and pure fun of science and technology to all ages.

Partnered with NYCDA, that fun will be extended to learning how to code in an innovative incubator of technology and science. Can't wait until August? Check out our Coding Kickstart evenings coming up later this month on July 26 and then on August 1.
