Meet Web Development Intensive graduates Daniel Yu, Imelda Alonso and James Hwang.

For their WDI group project, they took inspiration from a Ted Talk at UC Davis given by Alison Ledgerwood titled, Getting Stuck in the Negatives (and How to Get Unstuck). She addresses how easy it is for humans to develop patterns of negative thinking, and how hard it is for one to revert back into a positive state of mind.

This theory led the students to develop the app, Happy Thoughts. Happy Thoughts keeps a person's daily record of positive thoughts to help them break these patterns of negativity that one can so easily develop.

You too can learn how to build the app of your choice. Visit nycda.com for more information on the many courses that we offer.
